I very recently came across the Schoolhouse Tunic from my local craft shop Oatley Cottage newsletter for Term 4 2012, and of course, I had to purchase it plus the fabic I decided to make it with.
The fabic is Wrenly by Valori Wells Designs for Free Spirit Westminster Fibers PWVW034 Wildfield in the red/grey white background. There was onther in this range that I like but I would prefer to use it in a quilt to wearing it.
It has been som serious time since I have been excited to sew for myself, partly because of time and nothing that has interested me and also in the last year I have put on weight due to medication issues which are slowly being sorted.
I believe this tunic is about the fabic that is used to show off the pattern, like most things it is in the eye of the beholder to seriously see the desired outcome when sewing.
So as I do my last exam for this University semester today, this will be on my list of projects to do in the next coming weeks. Luckily that the University exams have been brough forwarded by four weeks, it allows more time to complete Christmas projects.
