In the last couple of days I have come across some great images of Japanese flower shawls/scarfs. The colours are amazing and this then led me to look at Sophie Digard’s work.
So I went searching my yarn patch and found 2 balls of 8ply in lime that is no longer available on the market so I made some in that ply then I pulled a lovely red in 4ply which allowed me to make 8 large and 5 smaller version, I like the outcome so I am off to buy more of this yarn which I know I can get.
I also have found that I am very interested in the Japanese motifs so I will visit the local japanese bookstore and see if they are carrying any books. But when I was viewing the design I think I can pull some of the designs from my mother’s crochet books which are over 40 years old.
In time I will load a photo.
