Time of year

Now this time of the year gets the juices following for quilt ideas.

My 2010 mystery quilt which was Storm at Sea blocks has one small border to go, as I ran out of one fabric and required a 3.5″ width strip to complete the blocks, which a fellow quilter was able to provide me with.

Now my Dear Jane has been slow going, so I decided to purchase the rulers for it this week and they have arrived today. So I will now be able to get down to business making more crazy small blocks for Dear Jane.

Also as a glutton for punishment, I have decided to do another sample quilt as well, the Farmer’s Wife Sample Quilt.

I have purchased Panier de Fleurs Fabric by French General, which should arrive at the same time as the book and EQ6 disc next week.
